Busan Unveils Final Lineup for 2024 International Rock Festival

The festival is set to take place from October 4 to October 6 at Samnak Eco Park, bringing together a blend of global and local talents for a three-day musical extravaganza.

Busan, South Korea – As the highly anticipated 2024 Busan International Rock Festival approaches, the city of Busan has revealed its fourth and final round of performers, adding to the excitement of one of Korea’s longest-running rock festivals. The festival is set to take place from October 4 to October 6 at Samnak Eco Park, bringing together a blend of global and local talents for a three-day musical extravaganza.

The headline acts for the festival include renowned British rock band Kasabian, celebrated singer-songwriter Anne-Mariefrom the UK, and Japanese punk rock legends ELLEGARDEN, all of whom have previously been announced, generating significant buzz among fans.

In the latest lineup announcement, the festival welcomes a dynamic array of artists. South Korean sensation N.Flying joins the roster, riding the wave of their recent hit drama soundtrack, ‘Lovely Runner,’ which has captivated audiences nationwide. Also featured is KARDI, a band known for their electrifying performances and a sound that seamlessly blends power with diversity.

Also joining the lineup is Rolling Quartz, a band that has gained attention for their charismatic performances. The festival will also feature Lilium from Taiwan, a group that masterfully blends unique soundscapes with emotionally resonant lyrics, appealing to both mainstream audiences and critics alike. Rising star Jung Woo, known for his clear voice and delicate, poetic lyricism, is set to perform, along with Low Hanging Fruits, a band that stands out for their refreshing sound and honest musical expression

Adding to the festival’s dynamic program is the “Rookies on the BU-ROCK” initiative, a platform designed to discover and promote emerging artists. Following a rigorous selection process, the top 15 teams have been chosen, with the final 10 to compete at the festival for a chance to win a total prize of 9 million KRW and an opportunity to perform at next year’s festival as well as at international events.

To further build momentum ahead of the main event, the pre-festival series “Road to BU-ROCK” is being held in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu. This weekend, on August 17-18, the events will take place in Busan and Daegu, offering music lovers a preview of the festival atmosphere.
