Busan, South Korea – The city of Busan is set to host the largest K-Pop festival in Asia, the 2024 Busan One Asia Festival (BOF), from June 8 to June 9. The festival, now in its eighth year, will take place at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium and Hwamyeong Eco Park, promising a blend of K-Pop performances and cultural experiences.
The festival kicks off on June 8 at 7 PM with the “BOF Big Concert” at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Fans can look forward to performances from nine K-Pop groups spanning from the first to the fifth generation. The lineup includes iconic names such as g.o.d, SUPER JUNIOR-D&E, and rising stars like ZEROBASEONE and BOYNEXTDOOR. The concert will feature extended performances and special collaborations, culminating in a spectacular finale.
In addition to the main concert, the festival will host various K-Culture experiences, including K-Beauty, K-Art, and K-Food zones, providing fans with immersive cultural activities. The “K-Pop Playground,” a highlight of the festival, will offer a random dance play competition starting at 2 PM, engaging both local and international visitors.
The festivities continue on June 9 at 6:30 PM with the “Park Concert” at Hwamyeong Eco Park. This concert aims to provide a healing and relaxing experience with performances by renowned vocalists Melomance, Paul Kim, Jukjae, and Onestar. The picturesque setting along the Nakdong River will offer attendees a serene backdrop to enjoy the music.
Busan’s Mayor Park Heong-joon emphasized the city’s commitment to ensuring the safety and convenience of all attendees. He expressed his hopes that visitors would create unforgettable memories in Busan, a city rapidly emerging as a hub of Hallyu culture.
