Discovering the Charm of Lego Village: A Unique Neighborhood in Busan

Lego Village, located in the Buk-gu district of Busan, is a unique housing complex that has captured the hearts of South Koreans and foreign tourists alike. Built in 1986, this neighborhood comprises 54 single-family homes arranged in a 6x9 formation, each with a similar shape but subtle differences. What makes Lego Village stand out is its resemblance to the popular toy block Lego, with its brightly painted roofs and uniform design.

Not only is the neighborhood visually appealing, but its residents have also made it a warm and welcoming community. Many residents have taken pride in their homes and yards, planting trees and flowers to add to the charm of the area. In 2019, the residents formed the LEGO Garden Village Community, publishing a book that shared the stories of the neighborhood and its residents.

However, Lego Village is not just a pretty neighborhood; it has also become a popular destination for BTS fans. BTS member Jungkook attended Baekyang Middle School located right next to the village, making it a must-visit spot for fans. While the neighborhood has become a popular destination for photographers, it's important to remember that it is still a residential area, and visitors should respect the privacy of the residents.

Lego Village is a unique and charming neighborhood that offers a glimpse into South Korea's history and culture. Whether you're a fan of BTS or simply looking for a picturesque place to visit, Lego Village is a must-see destination in Busan. So pack your camera, grab a map, and head over to Lego Village for a delightful and unforgettable experience
