Netflix has released a trailer for its latest action drama “Kill Boksoon”, which stars the talented Jeon Do-yeon. Jeon, who has previously won the best actress award at Cannes, will be playing the role of Gil, a single mother who is also a professional assassin. The movie, directed by Byung Sung Hyun, will be making its world premiere in the Berlinale Special section, which is dedicated to showcasing more mainstream entertainment.

The film follows Gil as she tries to balance her two conflicting roles, that of a killer and a mother to a teenage daughter. Despite having an unblemished track record as an assassin, Gil decides to take a break and spend time with her daughter, only to find herself in a race against time to discover what is bothering her. Complications arise when Gil realizes that her next target is at a parent-teacher meeting, and she finds herself in competition with another hired gun, played by Koo Kyo-hwan, and under pressure from her employers, portrayed by Sul Kyung-gu and E Som.

Jeon Do-yeon is one of Korea’s most celebrated actors, with a long list of accolades and awards, including the Grand Bell, Baek Sang Art, Cine 21 and Blue Dragon awards, as well as a lifetime achievement award from the Far East Film Festival in Udine.

“Kill Boksoon” will be available for international viewing from March 31 on Netflix. Don’t miss this intense and thrilling film that showcases the exceptional talent of Jeon Do-yeon and the directorial skills of Byung Sung Hyun.
